Child abuse is one of the most fundamental problems of all world countries. It is continuing a planned struggle with the same problem in USA. However, it is still not possible to reset this problem. Because many factors are causing the problem. On the other hand, the cost of this problem is quite high. This necessitated that the US public administration should address the issue first and establish the necessary mechanisms to resolve it. In a study conducted in 2012, child abuse and neglect (bad behavior) cost the US more than $ 80 billion annually. Studies to prevent child abuse in the United States have increased exponentially in the last 30 years. The US National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS) is a federally supported institution that collects and analyzes annual data on child abuse and neglect. This system provides solid information to help you overcome the problem. According to this; Approximately 83% of the abusers are between 18 and 44 years of age. The ratio of male and female infants is close to one. Approximately 54% of women are female and 45% are male. About half of these are 49%). According to 2012 data; the proportion of the victim male children, 48.7%; the proportion of victim girl children; 50.9%; the proportion of those whose gender is unknown; It is less than 1%. In our study, NCANDS data were generally used and child maltreatment was examined in general dimensions.
