In terms of being one of the fundamental principles of Islam, the Pilgrimage Journey has an important place in the lives of its followers. As the French novelist said, the novel is a mirror that takes you along the way. It is possible to see everything about life there. Therefore, one of the most fundamental subjects of Turkish-Islamic literature has been pilgrimage. With the introduction and widespread of the genre of the novel in Turkish literature, the subject of pilgrimage started to be discussed in novels. ?erif Benekçi is a writer who has written in many branches of literature, especially novels, in recent Turkish literature. Indirect religious and mystical issues were addressed in a Dawn Walk, one of his novels, and directly and intensely in the Pigeon Pass. In our study, the main theme of the “pilgrimage journey”, Güvercin Geçidi, will examine how the pilgrimage is handled, the pilgrimage stops, rituals and the spiritual atmosphere formed around them. At the same time, in this study where the problems of the Turkish community and the Islamic world will be determined from the point of view of the hero, philosophical and psychological analyzes about the issues such as human, society, life, religion and death will be revealed through the eyes of the hero.
