Tourism is a driving force for developing countries such as Turkey. The tourism sector, which provides that the terms of employment creation and foreign exchange earnings of Turkey is one of the indispensable sector for the economy. Nevertheless, it cannot be said that the share of the world tourism revenues has not yet been at the desired level. Failure to attract qualified and high spending tourists is the main reason for this situation. Qualified tourists came to Turkey, but may be able to provide quality services to the facility and staff. The qualified labor force needed by the sector can be met by tourism education institutions. Although tourism education is so important, it is observed that there are many problems related to tourism education in the field. The purpose of this research, the problems experienced in tourism education in Turkey is to consider systematically. For this purpose, a detailed literaturereview about the field has been made and the problems have been tried to be explained under general headings. The survey results, the number of students in tourism education in Turkey and the school has increased with each passing year, however, physical, especially academic infrastructure issues, foreign language, such as internships and employment shows that there were several problems in many areas.
