?smâîl-i Ankaravî is one of the most well-known figures of the seventeenth century Ottoman cultural life. He has spent the most productive years of his life in the capital city Istanbul. As a matter of fact he wrote Miftâhü’l-Belâga ve M?sbâhü’l-Fesâha which constitutes the subject of this article in this period. Ankaravî wrote Miftâhü’l-Belâga ve M?sbâhü’l-Fesâha using both Kazvînî’s Telhîsü’lMiftâh and Mahmûd-? Gâvân’s Menâz?rü’l-?n?â. Miftâhü’l-Belâga ve M?sbâhü’l-Fesâha consists of four ‘bâb’s and various ‘fasl’s. In this article I have tried to reveal the contents of Miftâhü’l-Belâga ve M?sbâhü’l-Fesâha by leaving out the examples which is given in it.
