Fekiye Teyran, is a man of letter and naturalist lived in 971-1041 A.H., (1563-1631 A.D) and produced various works. Built date and builder of the registered building is not known. Considering current data, the building had been built by anonymous local builders in early XVII. century and survived till today by being modified and extended in the later periods. Fekiye Teyran Masjid And House was designed as flat soil roofed and two story in the village. However, the building is covered by metal sheet in the recent times. There is a rarely seen Qullatain (stagnant water) structure inside of the ablution section which had been built separate from caravansarai masjid and house building. Survey, restitution and restoration projects of the building which was made out of coursed rubble and slate stone with mud binder were prepared by Van Governorate in the year 2013 and approved by Van Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage. Prepared application projects are conducted by Van Directorate of Survey in 2013. Having wealth on especially scenery and natural diversity, the area is visited by a great number of local and international tourists today.
