The Turkish works produced in and around Anatolia have been written on diverse subjects which contain many fields not only literary, but also non-literary. One of them is leke -n?me texts , although they cannot be considered as a separate prose type in the literature, they mostly occupy in the fawaid records of the manuscripts and deal with how to remove natural or chemical substances from materials such as clothes manufactured from various fabrics. As far as it can be determined, three Turkish texts on the subject relating to removing the stains on the clothes are brought to light in this study. One of these works is Kit ?b-? Leke -n?me (“Book on Stain”) preserved in the Süleymaniye Manuscript Library in Istanbul with a catalogue number of Nuruosmaniye 3762, it appears among folios 141a -143b at the end of the text named Y???tetü’l -Me??zin f? -Cev?hiri’l-Ma??din by Ya?y? ?aff ?r?. The text is composed of 3 folios, on each page of which 13 lines are written in naskh style of the Arabic script. The small manuscript is the basis of the paper. In this paper, some orthographical notes to the text in question will be presented briefly and the vocabulary of this text will be mentioned, and it will be prepared an analytical index and dictionary of the manuscript by editing in Latin alphabet transcription. In the dictionary part, Old Turkic forms of Turkish words will be cited through related etymological dictionaries.
