The modernisation studies of Ottoman Empire that have been put into practice starting from XVIII. century cover, with any fields, provincial land management. Provincial management staring whit Beylerbeyli?i sytem then continuing system like t?mar and iltizam is gradually replaced by a new system that is central and taken from West. On the basis of this new managetral goverment builts structures such as house, city hall, court hause, police station, post office and library in order to deliver public services in cities and towns. Goverment Haouses is located in the center of this structure complex. These structures that have been built whit eclectic under starting of period spends throughout the country. Bergama Goverment House is one of these structures. This structure’s plan, elevation, materials and decorative features make possible to reach general impresion about Goverment Houses in Abdülhamit II. Era.
