The Abject concept has been the center of attention of art and philosophy environment since 1900s. The reconstruction of the relation of disgust and disgusting with the original forms of art which takes place between the subject and object constitutes the main axis of this study. According to Kristeva, what is disgusting is not the body or threatens it. It is the thing which disturbs the soul, pushes the boundaries and is undesirable. Physical wastes constantly threaten the subject and prove that the body is a mortal organism. The subject tries to move away from the threat of being mortal by expelling it out. In this study, disgust, framed by Kristeva is created with different material and techniques as a painting, sculpture and entelasion samples and the Gelatin, Vorm, Fellows, Attitude exhibition is examined.
