In the study, the lore has it that in chess in order to be used in teaching vocabulary study aimed to determine their views regarding the adaptation as an educational game. The working group, Siirt Martyrs year spring semester 2017-2018 Middle School 6th Grade Teacher Ismail Steel consists of a total of 24 students in. Data collection tool "Student Interview Form" and, for the analysis of the data was used descriptive analysis technique. In this study, it is deduced that the game “Chess of the Wise” can be used as an educational instrument during the vocabulary teaching process to secondary school students, and in an evvironment enriched with educational games, vocabulary teaching can be done in an enjoyable, constructive, permanent and instructive way
