AKHİSAR IN FAHRİ ERDİNÇ’S ACI LOKMA NOVEL

Fahri Erdinç who was born in Akhisar/Manisa, wrote in his autobiographical novel about his life period till he forced to immigrate Bulgaria because of political reasons. The big portion of the book consists of Erdinç's childhood and teenage years in Akhisar. Moreover Aci Lokma contains many informations about Akhisar between 1920s and 1940s. "Akhisar novel" is composed of social, economical, historical and sociological details with impacts of liberation of city from the invasion of the enemy and the changes that took place together with the establishment of Republic. Aci Lokma has an importance as a qualified document with respect to illuminating everyday and social life in Akhisar till 1940s. In our article contributions to Akhisar city history tried to make with in terms of Aci Lokma novel's rich social and cultural content about Akhisar between 1920s-1940s.
