Although album covers may seem more nostalgic day by day as a result of evolving media dynamics, it’s value for the physical form of music such as casettes or CD’s is abiding.Technical details such as the picture on the cover, or the colors that have been chosen, the position of the letters on the cover will continue to provide insight for the audience about the album.
The main topic of the samples chosen are not design but symbols used.How does the consumer who has short time is convinced to buy that album through subconscious?
As graphic designers are busy with that very concern, What is the level of originality that the artists or record companies desire? Is it mandatory to be original to say that “i am here” as an artist, or is it sufficient for creative artists to use known patterns?
