The aim of this study is to evaluate music activities in pre-school institutions from the perspective of pre-service preschool teachers. Participants of the research is consists of 17 pre-service preschool teachers at Education Faculty at a university located in Mediterranean region of Turkey during spring semester of 2015-2016 academic year. Pre-service teachers to be included into the study were selected among third and fourth-year students who had completed their education on music. This study has employed “criterion sampling method”, one of the purposive sampling methods. The views of pre-service preschool teachers were obtained via semistructured interview form. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique . Findings gained from the research show that music activities included in pre-school educational institutions, but a large part of the activities in the program did not occur. While musical events were being held, it was found that the teachers had difficulties due to lack of musical knowledge and physical conditions which were not suitable.
