It can be seen that there was a conceptual paradigm change in art in the 1960's in an ontological sense. In the context of art historical process and aesthetics, the propositions of the 60s, new tendencies have formed a very strong ground in terms of method and discourse in today's art. That is why it is important to establish a relationship with this ground while deciphering an artist's practice today.
