Health and disease are among the most basic concepts of human life. With the birth of modern science, phenomenons of health and illness almost completely were abandoned to the positivist science tradition and receded from the interest of the social sciences. However, the concepts of health and disease before everything is related to the person's social and physical environment. Hospitals , the symbol of modern medical science are the last stops of the diseased body. Therefore, social environment inwhich disease and health conditions formed should be discussed in terms of sociology and opportunities and limitations of it should be revaluated. Fort his purpose, in this study the approach of classical Sociology tradition to the health phenomenon and the effect of social variables to health and health- seeking behavior are evaluated theoretical.
