When evaluated in the historical process, art, which gives societies social maturity and aesthetic heritage, forms an important part of culture. In this context, the relationship between art and politics goes beyond mere aesthetic value and leads to completely different references and references. Art, which is the mirror of the cultural heritage of the society to which it belongs; Guiding the current policies of the period is a dominant factor that contributes to the political information and shaping of the public. The communicative strength of art has also strengthened the relationship between art and power mechanisms. From this point of view, in every period, the dominant political forces have applied the transformative and transformative power of art in order to adopt their existing ideologies and increase their acceptability on the masses. One of the most effective political communication tools used by the current political power to memorize the national identity and adopt its power over the masses was the art of sculpture applied in the public sphere. In this study, an evaluation will be made in terms of power and memory of the political effects of the art of sculpture applied in public spaces.
