People’s Houses (Halkevleri) were one of the important socio-cultural institutions that marked the republic period. These institutions were opened to adapt the society to the reforms carried out with the values of the republic. They started to operate for the first time on 19 February 1932 and reached a number of 478 in 1951- the year they were abolished. People’s Houses, consisting of nine branches operating in different fields, carried out their activities through these branches. K?rklareli People’s House is one of these institutions that were opened all around Anatolia. K?rklareli People’s House opened on 24 June 1932 produced a periodical called “Bat? Yolu” between 1935 and 1936 in addition to its various activities. In this study, the periodical Bat? Yolu is introduced with its variety that occupies an exceptional place within the history of K?rklareli media.
