Political participation is one of the most important subjects of political science and may change over time. Especially II. After World War II, it is seen that large masses participate in politics at all levels. The political participation behavior of university students is especially important for political parties and political science. This study aims to measure the political participation behavior of university students before 31 March 2019 local elections. In this study, political participation is examined in five dimensions: political action, political interest, political campaign, membership and voting. The aim of this study is to determine the relation of the participation of the students of Political Science and Public Administration Department in Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University with the demographic variables. In this context, after analyzing the concept of political participation in detail, the results of the survey were evaluated. When the results of the survey were evaluated, while the political participation of the students in the dimensions of voting and political interest were high; In terms of membership and political campaign, it is seen that their participation in politics is low. According to the other results, except for the vote size, all the other men were more likely to participate in politics than women; that stable voters participate in political campaigns and membership dimensions; While the students whose family's income was in the middle income level showed more interest in politics, the students whose family's income lower income level was less interested in politics; It is observed that there are weakly significant differences between the political fan and the size of the action and the size of the socio-economic category and interest in politics.
