The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of the level of exposure to same age violence of pre-school students on their empathic skills. The universe of the research is constituted by the students who are 48 months and older and attending the kindergartens and kindergartens classes that are a part of elementary schools in Etimesgut district of Ankara province in the academic year of 2015-2016.128 children that have been reached have constituted the sample of the research. In the research, “Same Age Violence Exposure Scale” for identifying the exposure to violence by the children of the same age, “Sullivan’s The Empathy Scale for Children” for identifying the empathy levels of the children. The data of the study were analyzed by SPSS 20 package program. The relationship between the variables have been examined by Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient. According to the result of the research, it is determined that a negative, significant relationship between level of exposure to violence and level of empathic skills
