It has been put about 115 works in service to Turkish geography by translated into the Turkish language in the Republic Period. Forty of the translated works are books, and seventy-five of them are articles. First of all, it should be expressed that the count of the works published by translated is not much at 100-year Republican period. The Republic Period lasted about a hundred years. Likewise, almost none of the classics of the science of geography have been translated into Turkish, is evaluated as a major deficiency.
