Diffusors are the foremost factors of sound diffusion in enclosed spaces. They are the key elements of acoustic design in all types of listening environments ranging from concert halls to recording studios. Diffusors applied to the surfaces in enclosed spaces, create specular reflections instead of mirrored reflections, thus aid the sound diffusion. These elements also aid the directional coding of the sound arriving in the listeners ears, especially in critical listening environments, by scattering the sound in all directions. This paper aims to put forth the know hows of diffusor design by presenting the relationship between diffusor design and prime number sequences and explain the utilization of prime numbers, which is a field of research in Mathemetical sciences, as an auditory quality factor.
