Developmental stages of typing in the process of cultural history also covers the change stages of the visual systems formally that are considered as typing concept. Typing as a concept may be defined as iconic sign of the language as the major means of the communication phenomenon. Besides it has a vital function like communication elements, it must cover the mental needs of the humankind as a visual element. In this article, “the reasons of creating the font creation conscious” of the diversification process of the typing in visual sense were discussed as a wide design problem by being based on the stages when typing turned into an alphabetic system after the invention of it. In the examples examined in this regard, relations of the form language of the fonts with the geometrical measurement system within the alphabetical diversification from the mechanical period to the digital period were detected in terms of contemporary design criteria of typography and it was tried to be interpreted in two different stages as “pre-modern art and modern art process”. At this point, the main element intended to be emphasized in the examples shown as model is based on the fact that the form language to be used in the character designs is analyzed and balanced in such a dimension to cover the whole alphabet as an ideal measurement system. The contemporary form language to be used in the font design should be managed by “a geometrical measurement system” which is able to analyze how each alphabet character will be determined by another, through variable rule
