Stamp is a valuable paper which represents its countries’ historical, political and cultural features, fine arts and geography with various pictures, shapes and themes in its printed side. Its shape is usually square or rectangle but it can also be triangle, hexagon or circural. At first, stamps were sold for a fee to identify the postal service’s receipt. But in time it became the smallest art communication material because of its visual figures like shapes, themes and person portraits which gave significant informations of its countries. Stamps, which host various themes from the first printed stamp to today’s, have been used as a intercultural promotion tool for centuries. At the same time, stamps are a significant collection material. Printings’ theme and the sales are controlled by the government within the annual planning. In this study, the purpose is to determine and examine the artists and their paintings which were printed in the Republic Period.
