The number of tourists is increasing each year in the global tourism industry. Nowadays, tourists have seeking for new activities different from the sea-sand-sun trio. In order to get a share from tourism pie in economic terms, countries increase the types of tourism within their structure. One of these new seeking is agricultural tourism, one of the sub-branches of rural tourism. In agricultural tourism, tourists enjoy the rural areas and nature. Tea and hazelnuts represent the agricultural landscape character of the Eastern Black Sea Region. Tea, which is the source of agricultural tourism in the region, should be evaluated at this point. From this point, the old highway connecting the Hopa-Borcka districts of Artvin, which is in the 3rd place in terms of the size of the tea grown area, was choosen as the study area. Interviews and observations were made with the people living in the study area and the areas were photographed. Assessments were made to reveal the potential of tea tourism of study area and to diversify tourism in this direction. In Making the proper planning and designs in the context of sustainable rural tourism will contribute to the creation of more livable environments by minimizing the damage to nature
