Çata lhö yük, which is one of the primary settlements of Neolithic era, is located in Çumra district of Tukey in the south of the central Anatolia region. Çatalhöyük is an important region where human being started a settled life based on agriculture from a noma dic life based on hunting and gathering. It is discovered by James Melleart and David French in 1958. Archeologic excavations showed that Çatalhöyük bear extraordinary universal archeological values due to the archeological remains discovered, high human population lived, and the artistic and cultural traditions. And this makes Çatalhöyük an important region to utilize its archeo-tourism potential. When the archeo-tourism potential of the Çatalhöyük region is examined, it is seen that Çatalhöyük is considered as a tourism product because it exhibits many documents belonging to the culture which the region had in the past and it contributes to the tourism of the country with the tourists it attracted every year. This study aims to evaluate the archeo-tourism potential of the Çatalhöyük Neolithic city from a geographical perspective. Moreover, it tries to reveal the importance of its archeologic heritage. Therefore, in the light of the extended literature review and field studies, SWOT analysis is conducted to contribute to the investments planned to be done and to the utilization of the region’s present tourism potentia
