Euthanasia is the decision to end the lives of patients who can not improve due to the level of medical development and can not provide a good and quality life. Euthanasia, which causes ethical problems in the world and in our country, contradicts the principle of healthcare workers' health protection, maintenance and improvement, which causes ethical dilemma in this case. In this research, it was aimed to examine the attitudes of the nursing and medical faculty students who will be health professionals in the future to their euthanasia. The research was descriptive and cross-sectional, and 695 nursing students were employed by 332 medical students. Data were obtained using the questionnaire and the "Attitude Scale about Euthanasia, Death, and Dying Patient". A significant difference was found between the attitude subscale related to the attitude about dying patient total point averages according to the genders of the students participating in the study (p<0,05). There was a significant difference between scale total and subscale point averages according to the status of students asking for euthanasia to themselves and their relatives (p<0,05). A statistically significant difference was found between the Attitudes about Euthanasia Scale, Attitudes about Dying Patient and the Scale Total Score averages of the students who lost their lives (p<0,05). When the students groups of the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing are compared; a statistically significant difference was found only in the mean scores of Attitude subscale related to Death (p=0,01,Z =2,43) (p<0,05).The results of the research show that both the medical and nursing faculty students do not want euthanasia to be negative, especially to them and their relatives.More detailed information on attitudes towards euthanasia practice and the planning of research in the form of qualitative research are suggested
