In this work, Ömer Kavur's cinema, one of the most important directors of Turkish cinema, has been examined on the axis of different critics' views on Auteur theory. The concept of creativity was interpreted in terms of technical mastery, personal style and inner meaning brought by Sarris, and Ömer kavur and his films were analyzed based on these three titles. In this analysis, the technical and cinematographic creativity in the films of Ömer Kavur, the qualities of film language in terms of the existence of personal style, the inner meaning, space, character and the thematic qualities produced in cinema, the way cinema reflects the social realism (Karatay, 2015, 112) and The Trip of the Acrebin (1997).
