Domestic violence is one of the most popular issues of the discussion in modern community. It has taking place for long centuries may be from the begining of the family as an institution almost all over the world. It is a main problem in every community as a cause of phisical, socialand moral disorders. It has sourced from the cultural, historical and social roots of the community. But, during 20th century, the improvements of thoughts, has changed almost all of the point of views not only on the science, philosopy, industry but in the every, aspect of the life. Including the role of the genders in the communal and familial lives as well. During our current times, it is imposible to find somebody who can support the violence in the family. But, it is known that the domestic violence is continiuing. The difference between the devoloped and undeveloped communities are concerned only with the rate. It is clear that not only the domestic one but all of the types of violence must be finished with time by time. The first step of those logical efforts can be to create logical awaerness of the community, against to this harmfull behavior in the both genders. But it has to be said that, confidence to the time and waiting will not be enough. Beside it some logical efforts must be done for having an anti violence initiative. In this resarch it is tried to find out the awarness among the nurses of the violence against the male gender, at the North Cyprus/ Kyrenia. According to this research it is seemed that most of the nurses of Kyrenia have heard something about it but except a minorty, thay don’t have enoght knowledge about the details of subject. It is emphesized that for creating an anti violent awarness, more programs must be added at the every level of the nursery edecuation, depend on this subject.
