AZERBAIJANI WRITER SABIR RUSTEMHANLI'S NOVEL "DEATH SUMMIT" (ÖLÜM ZİRVESİ) AND HISTORICAL FACTS

It is known that after Azerbaijan gained independence in 1991, literature in the country gained a freer environment. During the so-called” post-Independence Literary period", Azerbaijani literati focused heavily on national and historical issues. As a result of our research, we found that historical novels in Azerbaijani literature are given a special value and they are followed with interest by readers. Sabir Rustamhanli, who was one of the most important writers of Azerbaijan (d. 1946) is also among those who wrote historical novels. Essentially famous for his poems, he has been the chairman of the citizens ' Solidarity Party for a long time in Azerbaijan. Rustemhanli, who took national subjects to the center of his works, skillfully created the layers of meaning that were sorted in a row at the summit of death. Although it gives events in accordance with their historical course, it expresses the cause-and-effect relationship with a solid logic. Through this article, Our goal is to introduce Sabir Rustemhanli and his death summit novel to Turkey and the Turkish world in the way it deserves. Then it is to prepare the ground for scientists who will conduct research on Rustemhanli in.
