Tavlusun connected to Melikgazi is a historic village about 8 km far from Kayseri. Today it is a protected area, but it was a center of population since Roman period and a countryside where Turks and non-Muslims had lived together throughout history. 6 fountains, 2 bridges and an aqueduct with historical values in the village have been studied, charted and described scientifically in this article. There is an inscription on only two of the fountains, while there isn’t any on the aqueducts and the bridges. It has been tried to come to conclusion about dating the works after comparing the other fountains with inscription in the village and the similar examples in Anatolia. According to these examples, the fountains and the bridges in Tavlusun village have been dated from the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century. They were made of cut stone and had simple and clean stonework. Partially preserving the original features, these structures were built for the needs, so their functionality was in the foreground. They have reflected the social, political and architectural environment of their time as a document, but most of them have lost their function and use. Moreover, these works are important in terms of art history, because of this reflection. The place and importance of them especially within Turkish water architecture has been emphasized.
