In shaping the future of the world, it should be kept in mind that education is a process starting from the birth to the death of person to ensure that the children who are the owner of future can live in a better world. To have well –trained people, the bases of education should be bold. As education is very a difficult issue in every period and in every place, the new education techniques are tried continuously. The opportunities gathered by technology to increase the effectiveness and productivity in education with advancement of technology. Among the opportunities, cartoons are used in TV for children education. In our study, 21 cartoon movies were investigated from TRT Kids channel and each of the movies was watched at least for one time. It was determined that there are the cartoon movies for 4 different age groups and there is no commercial film in TRT Kids channel. In cartoon movies, the messages for all age groups and the issues to be understood by each age group are broadcasted in entertaining and educating manner. Children can instantly learn the delivered message and displayed behavior patterns because they watch all the cartoon movies by giving full attention. Thus, it would be a good choice to use the cartoon movies as a tool to ensure important contributions for education.
