Tazkiras are the leading sources providing information about poets in Turkish literature. In addition to introducing poets in many aspects, Tazkiras give information about the socio-cultural status of the period. The Tazkira author introduces them to poets, sometimes by interviewing them or by gathering written or oral information about them. In his work Tazkira al-?uara, K?nal?zade Hasan Çelebi also give detailed biographies of thepoets. Hasan Çelebi had the opportunity to meet one-to-one with a major part of these poets. InTazkira al-?uara, when giving information about poets, the dates that are dropped on various occasions are noteworthy. These dates are not onlyfor the poet biographies of that period, but also for cultural, architectural and political events. In our study, it is discussed the chronograms in K?nal?zade Hasan Çelebi’s work named Tazkira al-?uara. Chronograms are classified and analyzed according to their subjects and purposes
