Perembe, which is a town of Ordu on the coast of Blacksea, has witnessed many changes in terms of socio-economic in recent years. It joined in “citta slow” net by evaluating the geographical and socioeconomic conditions and potentials in order to contribute to the development of region. Perembe, is no longer an ordinary seaside town (passive) by getting rid of the identity of their own capacities, experiences and identities to exist in our country and the world will gain momentum running. In this study, “cittaslow Perembe”, the regional development model, which serves for sustainable tourism , protects environmental and cultural texture, prioritise regional cuisine, music, art and folklore elements and its tourism potential will be evaluated. In this study, serving sustainable tourism, preservation tap of environmental and cultural, local cuisine, music, art and folklore elements are kept at the forefront of a local development model, the "cittaslow Perembe" and will be evaluated on the potential of tourism.
