When one is comparing novel from two different authors of different nationalities, one would gain a new perspective towards the one that is close to them and start to explore new details about it. Researches in this manner would ensure an oeuvre from our literature to be recognised and to be read more. Literature is about people, therefore comparing two texts from diverse cultures and languages would gain us a bigger perspective on people and the freedom of their souls. For the appropriate scientific research, one should analyse descriptions, place and time connections through history, philosophy and linguistics. In this research, the novels Fathers and Sons, written by one of the biggest authors named in Russian literature Ivan Turgenyev and published in 1859, and Blue and Black, written by a Turkish novel grandmaster Halit Ziya U?akl?gil, are compared with typological method. In the novels which draw attention to the similarities between their authors and his heroes, on the name of their ideas and the way of livings we observe likewise the resemblance between the character Bazarov, from Fathers and Sons and Ahmet Cemil, from Blue and Black. The disappointement of Ahmet Cemil, who reflects their era by his thaughts and his love, is similar to the sorrow resented by Bazarov, who never tolerates false beliefs and ignorance
