Tuhfetü’l-Erîbin-Nâfi’a lir-Rûhânî ve’-Tabîb is a medical book written by one of the most important scholars of 17th century, Hezarfen Hüseyin Efendi. This work is very important because it shows its time’s characteristics of medical language. The work is hosting all sentence types of Turkey Turkish, but some of these types are obsolete now. For these sentences, mostly starting with Persian clause conjunctions, the term complex sentences is in use nowadays. In thi work firstly, wetried to describe the term ‘complex sentences’, then, all of the book scanned and complex sentences identified. The sample sentences from the book, translated in to today’s Turkish and classified according to their numbers of compaund sentences.
