The aim of this study is to report descriptive datum about which conflict management manners are used by the qualified personnel of Directorate General of Prisons and Detention Houses who take applicant officer education and the reasons of conflict they experienced in the institutions they take charge in. In the process of collecting data, personal information form, Rahim organizational conflict inventory which the validity and the reliability studies have done and reasons of conflict scale are used. The individuals contributed to study are using the strategies of problem solving, reconciliation, avoidance, forcing, and adapting in turn. It can be said in consideration of the study findings and literary review that conflict creates a interaction atmosphere and has an impact as facilitator of the problem solving
