The writer places the characters to the center of novel A?k-? Memnu that it is one of the first mature patterns of western novel in Turkish literary. Most of the people that take place in the novel by their roles are family members, close relatives and staff of Adnan Bey's waterside house. The central fictive persons of novel A?k-? Memnu is converted to characters through deepening their psychologies. Imaginations, dreams and wishes of the central fictive people drag them into conflicts with the others or else in their inner world. Worries, doubts and fears affect characters preferences in this process. The narrator doesn't talk about elements such as neighborhood press, national and moral values, social and political conditions in the novel when he transforms the subject “forbidden love” to a theme.
