In this article we will stress the things that effected Edip Cansever while he was forming his “çok sesli” poem. The place of him,describing his poem as a poem of thought, among other “?kinci Yeni” poets will be identified. Information about existentialism and “nesnel ba?l?la??k” theories Cansever learnt from will be given and his ideas on formalism in poems will be considered.In the light of all these studies, a general perspective of Edip Cansever's poem will be drawn.
