Premarital sexuality and virginity are important facts in our society such that young people are subject to oppression over them and their impact cannot be ignored. The norms of patriarchal traditional values about sexuality and virginity which are usually identified over women and the social oppression in everyday life affects the youth in particular. In this context, the subject of resarch is the meanings which young women give to sexuality and virginity. It is among the targets of research to reveal the effect of the values of patriarchal traditions on sexuality and virginity over young people. The research is formed on social construction theorem. The meanings associated with sexuality and virginity are product of human activity that is constructed in social order. To reveal the meanings given to premarital sexuality and virginity, qualitative research methods are used and in depth interviews are made with 16 women students in two different cities. In spite of data obtained, it is seen that the norms of patriarchal values on sexuality and virginity has a great influence over young women students.
