Increasing in number of social media user and social media usage intensities is seen continuously. This increasing indicates that social media is the center of social life and has become an indispensable part of society. In this process, the family, which is the most basic unit of the society, is affected from social media environments. The intensive use of social media causes individuals to spend less time with each other in the family, thus reducing face-toface communication in the family. In this study, it is aimed to determine the communication differences in the family depending on social media usage levels of the university students. Quantitative research method is used in this research.
