Creativity has become increasingly important for the development of tourism in recent years. As competition between destinations grows, every destination increasingly develop to distinguish themselves through creative strategies. One of these is also the creative tourism. Creative tourism facilitates a tourist to gain an authentic experience through an engagement in participative learning of art, culture, heritage or the special character of a place. Creative tourism wh1 ich is the original type of tourism causes tourists to feel like a citizen of cities, towns and villages, to experience citizens’ cultural and routine life style, and to feel pleasure them. Activities within creative tourism are diverse, and are closely connected to cultural tourism. With a high level of national and international demand for different experiences, the region is dominated by creative activities in agrotourism and trekking, gastronomy and culinary arts and theatre, dance, music and crafts. The aim of this study is thought to be the original for our country, which has recently become popular is to introduce and explain the concept of creative tourism. In study, primarily the concepts of creativity and creative tourism are addressed then the resources of creative tourism, creative tourism demand, advantages and limitations of the creative tourism.
