Language teaching is not limited to develop the main four language skills. Language teaching, as stated in the Common European Framework, is an acculturation process. That is the reason why culture plays a crucial role in foreign language teaching.Course books are one of the most important facts of this transmission process. This study examines the visuals in the New Hitit Turkish Language for Foreigners Course Books 1, 2, 3 is prepared for teaching Turkish as a foreign language with respect to the cultural transmission. As a result, it is found that the visuals in the New Hitit Turkish Language for Foreigners Course Books 1, 2, 3 is successful in cultural transmission, reflects the similarities and differences between native and target cultures, and does not cause students to be biased.
