Cyberloafing in general means usage of computers and internet systems, that are allocated for business, for personal purposes. However, insensible usage of the on-line systems that are provided by business results in financial loss and creates legal problems for employers. In spite of the gravity of cyberslacking for employers and employees, Turkish studies on the topic is so limited. Study was carried out with academicians of Cumhuriyet University and cyberslacking habit is analyzed according to demographics. The survey was applied to 123 employees who volunteered to take part in the study, and significant difference between cyberslacking and devotion was found. In accordance with the outcomes of the study, defining feasible policies is so important.
