One purpose of art is to serve humanity by decorating the values that are important to society. Branches of art made for the purpose of decoration are called decorative arts. Book arts, which are an important branch of decorative arts, consist of various specialties used for manuscripts that are decorated in embroidery shops and turned into books. Calligraphy, ornamentation, miniature, marbling and binding are from this group and they have turned into cultural heritage in time. Today, a significant portion of the bindings, which are examples of cultural heritage, are preserved in libraries. This study was carried out in Yusuf A?a Manuscript Library operating in Konya Regional Directorate under Manuscript Institution of Turkey.
