In this study, we will insist on some characteristics of written products belonging to the students of French philology. We have limited our field of study to a restrained synchrony. We have collected written documents on the students’ copies as a starting point for the formative and developmental evaluations. The typologies of the errors have been grounded on the functional linguistics of A. Martinet. In order to specify the conclusions of our analysis, we will present, first, the aim of our study, and then the objectives of a comparative analysis. Finally, we will exposit the characteristics of our study and the method used.
