In this research, it is aimed to bring together and present studies on technology applications and design within the scope of the Science course. A total of 53 studies, including 17 articles, 32 master theses and 4 doctoral dissertations, were used in the research. In order for the studies to be analyzed more easily, each study examined was coded. The studied studies were categorized into themes, and the frequency and percentage values of each subcategory were presented in tables. In the studies, it was found that quantitative and mixed methods were used, scales and achievement tests were preferred, and primary and secondary school students were chosen as samples. As a result, it was seen that the general purposes of the studies were to determine the effect of using technology and design applications in science teaching or to determine the opinions about the use of technology and design applications in science teaching. When the studies conducted for these purposes are examined, it is seen that the use of technology and design applications in science teaching has positive results.
