If we take organizations as real living organisms, it can be said that each organization has its own characteristics and these distinguishes them from the rest. Organizational DNA is one of the examples emerged in recent years. This study aims to develop a scale appropriate to education organizations and determine the DNA profile(s) of Turkish Ministry of National Education prior to the ones designed by Booz Allen Hamilton Co. The universe of the study consists teachers (n= 250) working at primary schools located in Kahramanmaraas Province (Central District) in the 2012-2013 academic year and they were selected by implementing relational screening model. Organizational DNA Scale and Intrinsic Motivation Scales were used as data collection instruments in the study. In order to validate the findings a qualitative form is also used. The results of analysis showed that the scale is a valid and reliable one. Consequently, the DNA profiles of Turkish Ministry of National Education are overmanaged and fits-and-starts, as they are unhealty profiles some necessary advices are made.
