Dostoyevsky who is the most powerfull representative of psychological realism in the world literature, as well as in most of his works in 'Gambler' too, explains the human, the human nature and the human reality in a successful way. “Gambler” is not a biographical or otobiographical novel. The work shed light to only one part of author's life: The passion of gambling. In this article we will be dealing with the similiarities between the life of Dostoevsky and 'the Gambler' and also how he changed the real figures and actual events in life.
