Proverbs are the outcomes of the common and national culture that reflect the material and spirutual culture of the nation. It is possible to find in proverbs that belong to the lifestyle of the nation that the people lough and cry. Proverbs that have importance in this literature tradition contains a rich culture in dialects. Not only the proverbs found in old sources but also the proverbs in dialects presents a valuable features to analyze. The events through our lives, human behaviars especially similarities and dissimilarities that create humor was used in proverbs. Humor of cleverness was used based upon the spoken languages inappropratness. About 4248 proverbs gathered together from the dialects will be analyzed from the perspective of literature humor. The elements of humor will be analyzed from the perspective of play on words/pun, ethnical humor, stereotype/cliché, trade life, humiliation or humor titles including violence.
