In the globalizing world, the international organizations in educational field just like in other fields are gradually increasing. The most meaningful of all the organizations is the European Union Educational Programs. In the context of these programs, it is aimed that the quality of education is improved; the differences between the educational systems and the application of these systems are aptly identified; the cross-cultural aspect of education is strengthened; cultural variety is provided; learning of foreign language is supported; and last but not least, growth of country is contributed. The European Union Educational Programs named after the philosophers Socrates and Erasmus help the formation and improvement of respect, tolerance and sympathy by granting the socialization among young people that come from various cultural backgrounds via dialogues. Without doubt, in the environments where ethnicity, language, religion and sexual discriminations do not exist, the education that is given to these young people in the frame of respect to the civil rights is critically significant in the formation of peace culture in individuals.
