This building complex has been a very important center for breeding horses and developing plants, grains since the foundation as a royal farm (Çiftlikat-I Hümayun – Saltanat Çiftlii) to currently a state owned agricultural enterprise-Anadolu Tar?m letmesi. As far as we know there has been no detailed study on this complex, which spans a very large area and includes many buildings with different, special functions. The main buildings of this complex is one of the very important example of the last era of the Ottoman Empire in Eskiehir and resembles the European counterpart buildings of the same period. The similarities on the plans and faces suggest that the plans of the buildings had been taken originally from a European project.
